What these numbers mean
The cut-off point is the PSLE Score of the last student admitted to that track the year it was recorded. “Open” is the figure for a student applying without any priority; some schools also give priority to “affiliated” applicants, usually students from a linked primary school, who can be admitted with a higher (weaker) score. A range shown next to a cut-off point is the spread between the best and weakest score actually admitted that year. A “tie-break applied” note means multiple students shared the cut-off score and were separated by MOE's tie-break rules (such as citizenship or choice order), not by academic merit alone.
Cut-off points move every year with how many students apply and how they score. Treat last year's figures as a guide to how competitive a school tends to be, not a guarantee for this year.
