Angles measure turning. A few angle facts let you find unknown angles.

What this topic covers

  • Angles are measured in **degrees** (°). A right angle is \(90°\).
  • Angles on a **straight line** add up to \(180°\).
  • Angles at a **point** add up to \(360°\).
  • **Vertically opposite** angles, where two straight lines cross, are equal.
  • The three angles of a **triangle** add up to \(180°\).
